Nieve Music

Classic, Jazz inspired HipHop, Los Angeles based emcee Nieve has a lyrical style that is smooth, poetic, and soulful. Nieve has been rapping and making music since he was kid, perfecting his skills in numerous hip-hop shows, rap battles, and open mics across Los Angeles. Those who have inspired his rhymes include hip-hop artists Nas, Mos Def, Gangstar and Wu-tang as well as jazz greats John Coltrane and Miles Davis.

His first album, "Away with Words”, gained the attention of Tokyo hip-hop label "Goontrax" and was released in Japan in 2008. This led to further collaborations in Asia, where his singles and albums have topped the iTunes hip-hop charts in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Since then, Nieve has continued to gain a strong following in Europe as well, releasing and performing music in London, Paris, and Amsterdam. Now back in Los Angeles, Nieve is focused on making his mark here in the US as he did overseas. His upcoming album, as well as a group project, "Rebel Radio," are both set to release in May 2013.

Nieve's mix of silky smooth rhymes, jazzy flow and unmistakable mellow tone create a soulful, classic sound to be enjoyed by hip-hop aficionados and the wider music community alike. HIs tracks are sure to be welcome additions to any music-lover’s library.
